AVS 470
The AVS® 470 is a viscosity measuring device for capillary viscometers that does not require a PC control. The item includes the basic device, equipped with a ViscoPump III for a measuring station, as well as an AVS®/SK measuring stand, a CT 72/2 thermostatic bath and a CK 310 circulating cooler. However, no viscometer.
The AVS® 470 (opt) is equipped with a ViscoPump III, VZ 8561, for detecting the liquid meniscus with IR light barriers. In the case of opaque (non-transparent) samples, the alternative is the AVS® 470 (TC), item no. 285415708, available. In this device, liquid detection is performed using thermoelectric (TC) sensors.
Depending on the application, the AVS® 470 can pump the sample “sucking” or “pushing” into the measuring ball of the viscometer. The pneumatic connection hoses to the viscometer (hose set) are selected accordingly.
